Late sunday breakfast

Hello! Today Mike, Lily and I somehow slept in until about noon. I seriously have no idea how, especially on Lily's part. Her and I finally went down for sleep around midnight the night before. She's been teething a lot this last month, and a baby tooth finally started to pop out within this last week! It's so exciting. I wish she'd let me get a picture of it, but she has more fun moving her tongue around on my finger when I'm taking a "quick" peek!

So after finally waking Mike up, we popped Lily into her stroller and walked down to the shopping center about a mile away that has one of the best breakfast places in the town, Jamm's! It was so delicious. I enjoyed eggs benedict and some sourdough toast with butter and strawberry jam.. Guilty pleasure of mine. Mike had some french toast and he devoured it! Mike likes to go out, but he throws a fit the entire time cuz he'd rather stay in bed. But man, he kept saying how it was such an awesome Sunday and he enjoyed going out.

After our very late breakfast, we walked over to Ross. I picked out two really cute outfits for Lily, and got some Lily of the Valley soap. I love that Ross carries soap from England.. The packaging is enough to sell it to me. I love apothecary & botanical things. I also found this awesome butterfly for Lily's room! At first glance, it looked like faerie wings which already had me sold. But once I walked over, I realized it's a big, glittery butterfly to hang up from the ceiling! And for FIVE dollars?! Heck yes!

Speaking of faeries, I've been obsessing over Lily's first birthday. It's going to be in a little less than three months from now, but I've already planned it all! I'm even going to make a pink toadstool cake for her.. I'm awesome, I know ;)

After all that, we walked over to the Albertson's and picked up some stuff for dinner.. Caesar salad, and a Bertolli's pasta mix since I don't feel like making my own tonight.. Cooking is a little more stressful now when you're trying to keep an eye on your crawling monster. Who, I'd like to add, cannot stand being in her playard or anything else when I can clearly be holding her.

We had some friends come over after all of that, and now Mike is playing on the PlayStation while I'm in the room writing this and getting ready to watch Once Upon A Time, followed by The Walking Dead. Love those shows!

Sláinte!
